Motorsport- Ambrose picks up Nascar drive with RPM
<p>CONCORD, North Carolina - Australian NASCAR driver Marcos Ambrose will drive the No. 9 Ford for Richard Petty Motorsports in 2011. Ambrose announced a multiyear deal with RPM overnight. He will replace Kasey Kahne, who is leaving RPM at the end of the season to drive for Red Bull Racing before moving on to Hendrick Motorsports.

Harvick, RCR have it all figured out
<p>You know it really wasn't that long ago when there was a debate of whether Kevin Harvick was even going to stay at Richard Childress Racing. I think he was honestly contemplating leaving there. It had gotten to the point in the past couple of years where Kevin felt he just couldn't win a championship there. Well, obviously that has all changed now.

<b>"When you see</b> the Mustang, when you see the (Dodge) Challenger, you can tell that it's a Ford, and you tell that it's a Dodge," said Jamie Allison, director of Ford North America Motorsports.
Both race cars made their debuts earlier this month in the Nationwide event at Daytona.
<b>Every track in</b> NASCAR presents its own unique challenge. The short tracks test how much the drivers can control their tempers and how well they can manage their brakes. Intermediate tracks focus on handling and making the car work well the entire way across the track.
<b>“I don't have</b> that much of a strategy other than being halfway patient and waiting for other people to make mistakes,” Short, 14, said. “(Legends Million) will be move or get moved.”
Short's car has a 1250cc Yamaha engine and can reach speeds being between 95-100 mph.
